As you may know, Community Managers spend a lot of hours in front of the computer - surfing the internet, writing posts, tweeting, making posts on Facebook, analising...
That's why from time to time we need some distraction and "eye resting", so, what about relaxing while watching your favorite pets swimming, eating or reproducing?

We are sure many of you have heard about Hamleys or Harrods. In case you haven't, Hamleys and Harrods are two of the most famous and emblematic stores in London.
They are a must see if you ever visit London. They are even starred in the top sightseeing places to visit!
Harrods is a department store between London's Hyde Park and Victoria and Albert's museum, and it has approximately 100.000 visitors per day from all over the world! It's motto is "Omnia Omnibus Ubique" which means "All things for all people, everywhere", as what you can't find in Harrods, you won't find at other places! Another interesting fact is that the facade of the building has more than 12.000 light bulbs!
Meet one of Aqua Dragons biggest fans. Thomas Ullrich, a 46 year old brine shrimp kit (artemia salina kit) enthusiast and kit collector from Germany. Thomas works for a sweets and lollipop factory and privately is a passionate brine shrimp kit collector
We talked to him about it and made him some questions, these were his answers:
A.D: Why are brine shrimp kits so important to you?
T.U : As you can see from my age, I grew up in the 70's. As a kid I first heard of "brine shrimp or artemia" when a friend of mine found these as a gimmick in the German kid magazine called YPS.

From October 2014, Aqua Dragons will be available in three Scandinavian countries; Finland, Sweden and Norway brough to the Scandinavian consumers in conjunction with our new distribution partner, Nordic Toys!
Nordic Toys is a distribution cooperation between these three scandinavian chains:
Legekaeden in Denmark, Ringo in Norway and Lekia in Sweden.
Together they represent more than 220 toyshops in Scandinavia, So Scandinavian kids will be able to find their very own Aqua Dragons kits, just around the corner.
We´ve been travelling the world working very hard on promoting the new Aqua Dragons range, Aqua Dragons Jurassic Time Travel! This new range was presented at this years toy and pet sector trade fairs in North America, Europe, Australia, Asia, Africa and the Middle East already.
Last week together with the team at SCACS, our advertising agency, we recorded our newest TV AD for this new range, and we´re very excited about it!! The TV add will be on air in Australia, Canada and Uk soon, plus will be aired in toy stores everywhere on small LCD screens.
Thanks to the great production team and the two great actors, the talented Victor, whom you may know from our previous TV AD (we love him!) and the beautiful Martina, everything went fantastically.
The AD will be soon ready to be promoted around the world, but for the moment, here you have some "making of" pictures!

Hemos estado viajando por todo el mundo para promocionar la nueva línea de Aqua Dragons, Aqua Dragons Jurásico viaje en el tiempo! Esta nueva línea ha sido presentada este año en las ferias del sector de juguetes y tiendas de animales en Norte América, Europa, Australia, Asia, África y el Medio Este.
La semana pasada, junto al equipo de SCACS, nuestra agencia publicitaria, grabamos nuestro nuevo anuncio para televisión de esta línea, y estamos muy emocionados por ello! El anuncio se mostrará en Australia, Canadá y Gran Bretaña pronto, además de enseñarse en tiendas de juguetes en pequeñas pantallas de LCD.
Gracias a el magnífico equipo de producción, y a los dos actores, el talentoso Víctor, a quién ya conoceréis por nuestro anuncio previo (lo adoramos!) y a la preciosa Martina, todo fue sobre ruedas.

We´ve been talking about the "new items" coming for some time. In fact we´ve mentioned in this blog and teased with sections of photos. Fianlly the Aqua Dragons Jurassic Time Travel range has hit the shelves. The UK, Australian and South African consumers are amongst the first to receive these exciting new science toys.
The Jurassic Time travel range is a series of Aqua Dragons kits that work in the same way as our original Underwater World range but that have a cool new Jurassic / Dinosaur theme to them.
Here is a pic of the super deluxe "EggSpedition" item that has a pump that when actioned blows bubbles into the tanks water throught he baby dinosaur´s nose, and also a very groovy light up base for night time viewing.
The EggSpedition tank was designed and created with so much TLC it took 6 months longer to make it to market than originally planned, because we just couldnt stop improving and tweaking it.

As everybody was demanding a longer TV AD of Aqua Dragons, we decided to shoot again with our lovely actors, Victor and Isabel plus two new appearances, Fede and Laika, Aqua Dragon's doggie friend!
